Almost a year after I moved to my current address the GEZ finally tracked me down and now demands that I fulfil my good German duty and pay for public radio and TV. They managed to send me the first letter, assign a deadline, and a demand note exactly during my first weeks in Peru. I'm curious, if I did not have somebody taking care of my mail, what would have happened? Special agents entering my apartment by force, and, finally getting to know that I am in Peru, thinking that I fled from the GEZ? Interpol? Will I be arrested when coming back or am I already being observed?
