Survived the last two days with only a medium amount of being molested. After all the culture I decided I needed a good shopping day with good normal stuff, no handicrafts, pottery, artesans, no more llama or alpaka, just good old plain Aeropostale, Estee Lauder, and Calvin Klein. Fortunately, there is a big mall in Lima where you could almost think you are in the States. Unfortunately, that was closed yesterday, but at least today I had a good look. It even has an AppleStore, and a LegoShop! Did not have the new Pirates of the Caribbean Lego though. The service is lacking but not as bad as in Leipzig. And the waiter in the restaurant „Tanta“ actually let me eat in privacy. I tried a new tactic and answered „far away“ to the obligatory „where your from?“. Did not really work, so the next one will get a „None of your business“. Perhaps that shuts them up. Since I had a few hours of daylight left I went to the dogdump around the corner and hid between the flowerbeds to enjoy the sun (well, shade actually) and breeze from the ocean. Nevertheless, one guy managed to find me and started talking to me and only went away when I disregarded him for 5 minutes and increased the volume of my iPod. Slimy, filthy slug.
