Today after University I visited the Museo Larco, a nice museum with even more pottery and gold and jewels and stuff. Not as nice gold as Museo del Oro but definitely much better presented, and much better pottery. Worth mentioning is the display of „erotic“ pottery which shows various sights of genital ... things... in various... positions. Man, the old guys must have had some fun. And yes, I do want to buy some repliquas, but the Peruvians really need to decrease them in size or I can‘t get them into my luggage. And they are not in natural size anyway.

Anyway, the museum also has a nice restaurant where I had excellent lomo saltado with chicha morada. The waiter was not so excellent as he kept coming back to me asking if I needed something and then going on talking. After a while, he asked for my facebook account „to practise my English“ so I told him I did not have one. Well, then, email? No sir, but there are lots of ways to practise English in the Internet. He went off and apparently thought about that, because after 5 min. he returned saying that it is much better to practise with a person rather than reading, so what about my phone number? I paid and fled. Really. In an upscale restaurant! The Peruvians need to be taught some decency. Oh, and in Nazca, the agent who was caring for me, another couple, and two Argentinian mid- 40 women, after telling us the basics, invited me to sit and started chatting to me without another glance to any of the others. After a while, when I had been answering most evasively and pretended not to speak any Spanish at all, he asked me to take off my sunglasses so he could see my blue eyes. Is that rude or what?

It turned out that actually Monday the PUCP is open, so today was not my last day there at all.
